The Calgary Flames are proud to host the first annual Calgary Flames Hockey Fun Run which will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

This 5 km run will start at 10:00 AM outside of Dutton’s Lounge and make its way up through Scotsman’s Hill, returning to Calgary’s Elbow River pathway, and finishing back at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

There will be prizes awarded for demonstrating passion for hockey “fashion” as participants are encouraged to don creative running attire incorporating various pieces of hockey equipment. Participants and supporters will also be able to donate used but still usable hockey equipment for kids that otherwise would not have the opportunity to play. Donated equipment will go to the Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank.

This family-friendly event will go ahead rain or shine featuring a BBQ with a variety of food and beverages as well as fun activities for all ages.

Tickets for the Calgary Flames Hockey Fun Run can be purchased for $60 and include run registration as well as a ticket to one of three Calgary Flames regular season home games (October 19th vs. Nashville, November 1st vs. Colorado, or November 28th vs. Dallas). Fun Run tickets can be purchased HERE.

Also that night, the Calgary Flames take on the Vancouver Canucks in pre-season action. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
