MISSION:
The Calgary Flames Foundation strives to improve the lives of southern Albertans through the support of health and wellness, education and grassroots sports programming.
VISION:
Using the power of sport to create healthier communities.
IMPACT:
Since ownership brought the team to Calgary in 1980, the Calgary Flames Foundation has injected over $40 million into the southern Alberta community including more than $4 million in 2019-20.
COVID-19 COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM
With your help, the Calgary Flames Foundation has distributed $2.5 million to southern Alberta organizations delivering critical and essential community needs. Funding has been provided to Southern Alberta charities and programs supporting:
· Vulnerable populations
· Food mobilization and food security
· Mental health support
· Family support services
· Grassroots sports
· Shelter
