About Homes For Heroes:
The Homes For Heroes Foundation was developed in response to the growing number of military veterans who are facing crisis as they return to civilian life and find themselves on the path to homelessness. As many as 5,000 veterans are homeless and living on the streets in Canada. These veterans put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms and now they need, and deserve, our support. With your help Homes For Heroes will provide them with housing along with the resources, services and training that will enable them to successfully transition back into civilian life. Together, we can end homelessness among Canada’s Veterans.
About the Veterans Association Food Bank:
At the Veterans Association Food Bank, Veterans have found a sense of purpose and support that has helped change lives. The Veterans Association Food Bank provides food, social opportunities for veterans, and proactive programs for the prevention of homelessness, and suicide intervention. A variety of programs help enrich the lives of veterans and offer them hope for the future. Through the support of the community, the Veterans Association Food Bank has been able to provide food and support to over 495 veterans and veteran families since opening in 2018.
About Support Our Troops :

It operates within Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.
