FLAMES ALUMNI LAUNCH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

FLAMES ALUMNI LAUNCH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

Spirited and lead by Rhett Warrener, the Calgary Flames Alumni will be hosting a toy drive at the December 22nd Flames game versus the St. Louis Blues. From donations, holiday hampers will be created and delivered to 11 families in need by members of the Flames Alumni and the Calgary Police Service (CPS) on the morning of December 24th.

In partnership with the Calgary Flames Foundation and the Calgary Police Foundation, 11 families have been handpicked from the Integrated School Support Program. The Integrated School Support Program (ISSP) is a prevention-based initiative in two elementary schools located in the Forest Lawn community.

Members of the Flames Alumni including Rhett Warrener, Colin Patterson, Curtis Glencross, Joel Otto and Jamie Macoun will be on the concourse at section 227 collecting donations. Fans are encouraged to bring donations of unwrapped toys or grocery store gift cards and stop by section 227 to grab a quick photo or autograph from the alumni. All donations will then be wrapped and sorted into hampers to help make this holiday season a special one for these families.

Collection will take place from the time the doors open until the end of the second intermission. If fans are unable to make it to the game and still wish to participate, they can drop off their donation at the Scotiabank Saddledome any day leading up to December 22nd at the main reception desk.
