“The Calgary Flames Alumni are excited to give back in another exciting way by sharing the skills they have on the ice with the next generation of hockey players,” said Jamie Macoun, President of the Alumni Association. “This camp allows the alumni to get back into the community in the best way they know how and also help raise some funds for various charities around the city.”
“The alumni are very appreciative of the corporate support provided again by “OPA! of Greece ” as title sponsor in 2021/2022 accompanied by Scotiabank and Big Chief Meat Snacks coming on board this year. Without support like this our school would not be as successful.”
The Calgary Flames Alumni have been a contributor to the southern Alberta community since the early 1990s. Through pro-active events and activities combined with a positive response to requested community needs, the alumni have been effective in fundraising for important causes as well as creating impactful and socially beneficial experiences for fans.
